NCC is a member of the Evangelical Alliance, which is the oldest alliance of evangelical Christians in the world and the largest body serving evangelicals
in the UK.
Imagine is a 4 day summer festival in Aberdeenshire. Pitch your tents and spend
part of your holiday with hundreds of other young Christians from all over Scotland, worshipping God together and learning from some quality teachers.
Souled Out hosts events at the AECC so that Christians across Aberdeen can gather and worship together. The vision is to see people of all ages and backgrounds inspired to be 'souled out' for Jesus, working together to extend God's kingdom.
Clan Gathering is a week long family summer event based in St Andrews for those wanting to worship Jesus, get to know Him better and have an awesome time with other christians from across the nation. Many members of our congregation attend every year.
We are a Fair Trade church and support the work of Traidcraft, which is a Christian charity
(and the UK’s leading fair trade organisation) that fights poverty through trade, helping people in developing countries to transform their lives.
Scripture Union is a non-denominational, Christ-centred international movement working in partnership with individuals and churches to use the Bible to inspire children, young people and adults to know God. At NCC, we use SU materials to teach our children and young people.
We support an overseas worker for OMF (Overseas Missionary Fellowship), which is a Christian charity bringing the gospel to many countries in East Asia and sharing the love of Christ with East Asians worldwide.
Christian Action Research and Education (CARE) is a well-established mainstream Christian charity that provides resources and helps to bring Christian insight and experience to matters of public policy and practical caring initiatives. CARE is represented in the UK Parliaments and Assemblies.
Care for the Family is a national charity that aims to promote strong family life and to help those hurting because of family breakdown.
One of our Leaders, Colin Shand, is the North-East representative for Care for the Family.
Several of our congregation have a heart for the Jewish people. Some of the organisations they are involved with include:
- The Church's Ministry among Jewish people (CMJ), which is a family of believers, both Jewish and non-Jewish, whose aim is to support and encourage Christians and Jews alike in the area of Messianic faith.
- Christian Friends of Israel (CFI), which is an organisation of Christians who love Israel and its peoples and believe that God has a special place for them in His Kingdom purposes before the return of the Messiah.
- Prayer for Israel, which is a weekly prayer meeting in Inverurie.
